Anonymous: Hey, I'm the 'glad L died" anon. I just wanted to add that it bothers me so much when people say they didn't watch the end!! Like, how can you get invested in something and then not find out how it ends!!! And people who say they hate Near just because he isnt L makes me sad too. Of course he isn't L. L died, weren't you paying attention? (I'm biased I liked Near). But yeah, I'm always surprised when people tell me they just put something down and didn't finish because a character died.
hello my dear friend! i really feel the same. like, i really think the ending of dn is perfect counterbalance for L’s death - narratively, and you know “an eye for an eye my friend” - and not actually sticking it out to get there has got to totally change how people perceive dn as a work of ficiton
