the thing i like best about B is that he’s so in control and he’s the mastermind and he knows everything and learns everything and turns with the tide and is utterly unflappable - until he isn’t. and his real brilliance is that the strings are frayed and entropy is there and all of his perfectly crafted schemes are partially eating him alive and he’s dying inside and is he going to save himself? we just don’t know
