Anonymous: one thing i really love about death note is that a lot of things about the characters arent spoon fed to us, the fans have to come to conclusions about the characters real motives and their pasts and their personalities on their own a lot (matt probably being the epitome of this, but i dont think the creators intended for people to latch on to him so much). idk it's just really fun and interesting to analyze each character and come up with theories that have a good a chance as any of being right

anon should get a prize for verbalizing everything i want to say constantly and all the time in a much more succinct and readable way
